Clear Super Bowl Squares rules: how the grid works, when to assign numbers, scoring by quarter, and common variations.

Rules you can copy/paste

10×10 grid (100 squares). Home team on top, away team on the left.

Numbers 0–9 are assigned randomly to the top and left after squares are chosen (typically when the pool is full).

At each checkpoint (Q1, halftime, Q3, final), use the last digit of each team’s score to find the matching row/column.

Define tie rules in advance (split, closest score, or rollover).

Locking prevents late changes and triggers random number assignment.

Create a private pool in minutes, invite friends, and lock the pool when it’s full to generate random numbers.
