How to Play Super Bowl Squares
Step-by-step guide to playing Super Bowl Squares: setup, rules, numbers, payouts, and tips for running a great pool.
How to play
Step 1: Create the grid
Choose teams and create a 10×10 grid. Each square represents one entry.
Step 2: Fill squares first
Have players pick squares before numbers are assigned. This keeps it fair.
Step 3: Lock and randomize
When full, lock the pool to generate random 0–9 headers for rows and columns.
Step 4: Score by last digit
At the end of each quarter (or your chosen checkpoints), use the last digit of each score to find the winning square.
Step 5: Pay winners
Pay out based on your payout structure. Common: Q1, halftime, Q3, final.
